Age of Love

After learning about their “stronger than ever” romance from Confidential just nearly two months ago, many are speculating that Mark Philippoussis and Amanda Salinas, stars of the realty dating series Age of Love, are no longer together.  Controversy has sparked after Philippoussis' agent refused to comment on whether the couple is still an item.

Australian tennis player Philippoussis met Tennessee cheerleader Amanda Salinas on Bachelor-style dating show Age of Love, where he chose 25-year-old Salinas over 48-year-old Jennifer Braff.


As of the moment neither parties has confirmed nor denied the breakup issue but Carlos Fleming of international sports agency IMG World would only say that Philippoussis is presently concentrating on tennis.

"Mark is focusing on his preparation.  He is coming along well" he said.

Philippoussis' efforts proved to be very fruitful as he successful marked his comeback to tennis with a victory at the Stanford Champion Series tournament in Dallas, Texas.  According to the 30-year-old tennis player, his experience with the Outback Championship Series tournament was uplifting.  He had a lot of fun, considering that this was his first attempt in the field since his injury in January.  Again, he made no mention of the status of his relationship with Salinas.

”The Outback is a different experience from the ATP tour.  Normally you have a lot of room service and go to bed early but this is more relaxing.  I got a chance to go out to dinner with some of the guys and experience some of Dallas, which is a pretty city.  Everyone I met was really nice and I definitely enjoyed the tennis so its been a great week.  Next up for me, I'm moving back from Vegas to San Diego.  I'm going to focus on strengthening my legs and get match ready for the Australian Open,” the Age of Love star said.
