Lexie Carver is played by
Renee Jones on the NBC soap Days of our Lives. Lexie was raised by her aunt Grace thinking she was her biological mother. In truth, she is the daughter of Stefano DiMera, organized crime kingpin and the series’ most notorious villain. She is the wife of Salem police commissioner Abe Carver and was once a police officer herself. With some villainy blood running through her veins, Lexie often finds herself in ethically questionable situations. She has a history of infidelity and she helped out her vigilante brother-in-law Jonah Carver. The identity of her mother is unknown.
Part of a love triangle with Brandon Walker, Lexie has a history of animosity towards rival Sami Brady. Sami blackmailed Lexie to lie to a patient regarding her chances of having healthy children. After this was discovered, she was fired from Salem University Hospital but later on found a job as a part-time private nurse and medical adviser.
After inadvertently witnessing a murder, she and Tek Kramer, whom she had been having an affair with, were run off the road and were never seen again. Some said the gunman, EJ, disposed of them to rid of any eyewitnesses, while others said they had eloped. Lexie was eventually discovered, though, by a group investigating the family feud, in the underground tunnels of Salem. Suffering from hallucinating after being trapped for months, she quickly attacked her rescuers. Later on, however, she helped the Brady’s set a trap for Andre DiMera, while she was reinstated at the Salem University Hospital.
