Whenever we start to feel bitter and cynical about couples surviving on The Bachelor or Bachelorette, there’s always that one ray of hope: Ryan and Trista Sutter. Trista became ABC’s first Bachelorette, after being dumped by Alex Michel on The Bachelor. That heartbreak ended up benefiting her in the long run, as it allowed her to meet Ryan, who would become her husband. The two married in 2003 and welcomed baby Max into the world last summer. The pair have become the poster children for The Bachelor and Bachelorette series, and seem to be very happy together. This week, it’s National Romance Week, and to mark the occasion, the couple stepped back into the spotlight to christen a cruise ship and celebrate a milestone.

Taking advice from perhaps the most successful couple spawned by The Bachelorette Trista and Ryan, DeAnna Pappas and fiance Jesse Csincsak are trying their best to be a “normal couple.” This, of course, is saying much, as the December 2003 wedding of Trista and Ryan made history by drawing 26 million viewers, one of the most in reality television history.
With Pappas and Csincsak gracing the local car wash, bypassing the automatic carwash, and doing the washing themselves, they seem to be doing a good job being “normal.” Pappas, 26, drove her car to the carwash recently and sent a message to those who are doubting if the two are still together.

It was a shock to Bachelorette fans everywhere when DeAnna Pappas decided to eliminate Graham Bunn after going on a hometown date with him. She walked him to the limo and told him that she was saying goodbye to the one person she was falling in love with. DeAnna decided to send Graham home, after feeling that he refused to open up to her. She misjudged the situation, as he pulled a letter from his pocket which he poured all his feelings into, and handed it to her before he left. At a taping of a Bachelorette special in which DeAnna had to face the men she rejected, you could cut the tension between the two with a knife. We all know that DeAnna moved on but now, word comes that Graham has moved on and found love, too!

Well, you can’t blame a girl for trying! When DeAnna Pappas accept Jesse Csincsak’s proposal earlier this month on the season finale of ABC’s The Bachelorette, viewers were left scratching their heads. The reality dating show didn’t air much footage of the connection between DeAnna and Jesse, opting instead to focus on other suitors to perhaps make the finale more dramatic and shocking. The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have terrible track records when it comes to last relationships. Only 3 of 16 have managed to stay together. It’s no wonder why people are skeptical of DeAnna and Jesse’s relationship with Jesse. To show everyone that their love is for real and forever, the pair launched a website to put their relationship on display (and keep their 15 minutes of fame rolling on).

It’s safe to say that Jason Mesnick walked away from this season’s The Bachelorette broken hearted. He was convinced that he was meant to be with DeAnna Pappas, and credited her with teaching him that he could fall in love again. A single father, Mesnick was left by his ex-wife for another man, a move that caused him to close himself off emotionally. One would never know that watching The Bachelorette. Jason was open and honest from the beginning and always let DeAnna know how he was feeling. She took him all way to final two before turning down his proposal while millions of Americans watched in shock. DeAnna ultimately chosen Jesse Csincsak, a pro snowboarder and quite the opposite of Mesnick. Since the show, Jason has stated that he’s not sure he’s ready to date again but that doesn’t stop his female fans from trying to get a little attention from this eligible bachelor.

The Bachelorette fans were stunned when DeAnna Pappas turned down Jason Mesnick’s proposal in the season finale this week. On his hometown date to meet her family, Jason asked DeAnna’s father for permission to propose to her. In the Bahamas, Jason told her of his plans and she was well aware that he was about to get down on one knee. So it was no wonder that Jason felt disrespected and hurt that DeAnna let him get down on one knee at that final rose ceremony before turning him down. During the limo ride home, Jason said that his emotional walls were going to go back up and couldn’t believe that he had misjudged his relationship with DeAnna so badly. This week, he spoke to reporters for the first time since appearing on the show and opened up about what he went through and what the future holds for him.
