90210: Secrets and Lies Invade Beverly Hills Tonight

January 6, 2009

90210 returns to our small screens following nearly two months of holiday hiatus.  On tonight's episode called "Hello, Goodbye, Amen," viewers will learn the shocking truth about Adrianna who at the same time is recovering from her drug addiction.

Last time we saw 90210, Harry and Debbie welcomed Sean into their home and invited him to move in while Dixon felt jealous towards Sean.  Annie and Naomi's feud worsened and the gap between Brenda Kelly widened.  Naomi broadened her friendship base and started hanging out with a new group of girls but was confronted by Annie in a lunch-room showdown.  Moreover, Silver was threatened by Christina, a cheerleader for the lacrosse team, when she showed too much interest in Dixon, and Ozzie made Naomi an indecent proposal to impress the Blendeds.

Former 'Heroes' Actor Matt Lanter Joins '90210'

December 19, 2008

If there's one thing the CW's updated 90210 series needs, it's an old fashioned bad boy. They may have taken a while to introduce him to the show, but 90210 producers have finally found their new Dylan McKay in Matt Lanter, who is set to play troublemaker Liam when the series returns in January.

Already, the 90210 set is abuzz with excitement over the new addition. 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord, who plays Naomi, spilled about the Dylan comparisons earlier this week to "Access Hollywood."

“They're kind of welcoming him as the new Dylan,” said McCord.

Catching Up with the '90210' Stars

December 8, 2008

While the fans wait in anticipation for the return of their favorite shows next year, the stars they watch and fancy are busy with other projects.  Sometimes though, they need their break as well.  Such is the case for the stars of the hit CW series 90210, who had their first season wrap up back in November.  While the show continues its production, let's bide our time by looking at how things are going with the 90210 celebrities these days.

Sources have revealed that actress AnnaLynne McCord, who plays the character Naomi Clark on the show, has been spotted relaxing before going to work.  She was seen on the set of 90210 just last week, carrying her cat around.  The feline, ironically named Mouse, was cozying up to her owner who was walking in and out of her trailer before shooting any scenes.  McCord was also blowing kisses to fans and chatting with set workers before she got down to business.

'90210' Stars Head to Canada's Gemini Awards

December 3, 2008

This week, the Gemini Awards became a temporary respite for some of the industry's top Canadian celebrities.  All set to honor his motherland, Beverly Hills alum Jason Priestley of took the responsibility of hosting the event.  And who else would he run into during the affair?  It was none other than the current star of his show's spin-off, Shenae Grimes of 90210.

The two met on the red carpet at Intercontinental Hotel's Metro Toronto Convention Centre for the 2008 Gemini Awards, as if it was a reunion of two Beverly Hills generations.  Despite working together eventually, it's very unlikely that Priestley and Grimes will be seen side by side on camera.  Priestley is out to direct an episode of 90210 next year, but he has confirmed that he won't be making a cameo appearance on the show.

'Friday Night Lights' Aimee Teegarden to Guest on '90210'

December 2, 2008

Has the exodus of Friday Night Lights cast members begun?  Is this a sign that the show's long, arduous death march is coming to a close after three tumultuous, yet critically-acclaimed seasons?  Aimee Teegarden, the adorable teen who plays Julie Taylor, progeny of Coach Eric Taylor and his lovely wife Tami, has signed for an appearance on the CW's 90210.  Teegarden will play a girl named Rhonda, who crosses paths with Ethan Ward, current boyfriend of de facto lead character Annie Wilson on 90210. As of now, Teegarden has signed on for one lonely episode, but there's always the possibility for more.  Can we read anything into the future of Friday Night Lights given this news?

Tabloids Target '90210' Star for Eating Disorder

November 28, 2008

Young actresses who maintain a slim and slender figure have always been the target of tabloids when it comes to eating disorder rumors. Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen twins have all been targets of this controversy and while some celebrities choose to ignore the issue, others opt to break their silence.

Such is the case of Shenae Grimes, 90210 star who plays the “pretty, cool, and popular” Annie Wilson on the spin-off series. In an interview with People, the 19-year-old actress disproves the rumor and even urges the public to ask her before believing what they read.
