Celebrity Paranormal Project was a reality show on VH1 which premiered on October 22, 2006. Its main concept was to investigate the paranormal activities in an alleged haunted location using paranormal specialist equipments.
Five celebrity participants were left alone in a haunted location from night until sunrise. They were given a brief background of the place as well as the history of past ghost sightings. Their main task was to identify the paranormal activity in the area using their equipments. Surveillance cameras were set up in the entire location to record all the happenings in the area that is being investigated.
