Now being a “shipper” is a very serious thing. I mean, as your characters fall in love, you do too. 2008 was full of great television relationships. We had to narrow it down to a lucky 20 for BuddyTV users to choose from.
Any shipper fanatic knows their “ship” inside and out. I, for one, will always be a LoVe shipper. That is - Logan and Veronica of Veronica Mars. 2008 saw the development of new ships, the crumble of others, and the long lasting tension of our older ships. Overall, it's been a great year for most shippers.
The competition will be fierce as there are a lot of fans out there. When we did our “Which One Tree Hill Couple is Best” showdown, Brook and Lucas pulled out the win from underneath Leyton and Naley fans. MiSa (Michael and Sara from Prison Break) fans have been known to be a powerful force.

Three more celebrities have been added to the already star-studded list of presenters at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, Aaron Eckhart of The Dark Knight, and Laurence Fishburne, fresh off his new leading role on CSI, will all be handing out globes at the January 11 ceremony .
Lively, Eckhart, and Fishburne join several fellow TV and movie stars as announcers at the award show. The array already includes Drew Barrymore, Simon Baker of The Mentalist, Jake Gyllenhaal, and new mom Amy Poehler. Latina hotties Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez are also on tap to announce winners, as are comedy stars Sasha Baron Cohen, Ricky Gervais, and Seth Rogen.

Since the CW series Gossip Girl will be going on an almost month-long hiatus, some of its stars take advantage of the break to venture out of the hit and take on some other projects.
For one, Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg is heading to Sundance Film Festival for a new movie, the independently produced dramedy Against the Current. Trachtenberg, 23 and best known for playing Dawn Summers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will star opposite Joseph Fiennes in the film that will debut next month at the Utah film fest. It also stars Justin Kirk from Weeds, Elizabeth Reaser from the current movie hit Twilight and Golden Globe-winning actress Mary Tyler Moore. Trachtenberg, of course, plays Georgina Sparks on the CW hit.

Looks like Aaron Rose, Serena's most recent mopey artist boy-toy, whom BuddyTV has not-so-fondly nicknamed “Boron,” has gone to Argentina… and he's not coming back.
The CW has confirmed that the December 8 episode of Gossip Girl, “O Brother, Where Bart Thou?” is the last that viewers will see of John Patrick Amedori, who plays Serena's (Blake Lively) latest love interest and in the most recent episode decides to jet off to Buenos Aires, convincing Serena to come with him.

Fans of the CW's Gossip Girl have been anxious to learn more since rumors of a spin-off surfaced recently, wondering if current cast members would be leaving the hit show to star in the new series. Now a CW insider is telling Star magazine that the spin-off will center on the early romance between Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford) and Rufus Humphrey (Matthew Settle).
According to the network insider, the spin-off will begin when Lily and Rufus first meet and become a couple. But Gossip Girl fans need not fear, as the network plans to cast two new actors to play these younger versions of Serena (Blake Lively) and Dan's (Penn Badgely) parents. All the original cast members of Gossip Girl will remain intact.

Death is usually a terrible, tragic affair, but on Gossip Girl an untimely demise led to one of the best episodes of the season. Last night's scandalous, heartbreaking installment didn't make me weep for Bart Bass, who was a true Basshole even on his best days, but it did make me feel for Chuck, who spiraled into liquor, twins and cattiness following his father's death. Ed Westwick owned every moment of the episode as he showed us a side of Chuck we'd never seen before. He may hate to admit it, but It turns out the mother Chucker has a heart after all.

Spotted: Lily (Kelly Rutherford) has decided to leave Bart because he's got a private investigator keeping tabs on her misdeeds, as well as the rest of her brood. Meanwhile, Chuck tattles on her whereabouts to daddy dearest. But right before anything scandalous happens, Lily gets the call that Bart's been in an accident.
Tonight's Gossip Girl begins with everyone making preparations for Bart Bass' funeral. They wrote him off the show mighty quickly, didn't they? With not even a last huzzah. Will we ever find out the secret he dug up about Lily's institutionalized past?
