A word of advice to the cast members of Grey’s Anatomy: you have no job security. You may say something on the set to another actor that causes a media firestorm and suddenly, you’re disappearing without explanation (I’m talking to you, Isaiah Washington). You may have been brought on as a lesbian character that didn’t sit well with the uptight ABC execs and disappear after work, never to be heard from again (that’s you, Brooke Smith). Apparently, you may also find yourself written out of scenes and practically entire episodes should you even question the writing staff. E!’s Kristen Dos Campos has the scoop, but has to refer to it as a blind item. However, we all know who she’s referring to.

Katherine Heigl hit the big 3-0 last week and celebrated with husband Josh Kelley and just a few close friends. Heigl and company headed out to Desert Rose restaurant in Los Angeles and enjoyed a small and quiet dinner together. Despite the fact that they were in a public place and being filmed by the paparazzi, Heigl and Kelley couldn’t help but cuddle up all night long. The Grey’s Anatomy star donned a genuine fur coat and was seen without her usual cigarettes in hand. The only thing that was lit up at this celebration was her beautiful birthday cake. Noticeably missing from the event were her Grey's costars, especially T.R. Knight, who Heigl has called her "best friend" in past interviews.

Last time we saw Addison (Kate Walsh) walking the hallways of Seattle Grace on Grey's Anatomy was in the episode “Piece of My Heart," which aired in May. In the said installment, Addison flew to Seattle Grace at the request of the Chief (James Pickens Jr.) to perform a groundbreaking surgery. While she's determined to set a few people straight, she's also struck by the changes among her old friends.
But it seems that Grey's Anatomy fans have not seen the last of Kate Walsh, who now stars on the spin-off Private Practice. According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Grey's Anatomy fans can expect more Grey's Anatomy-Private Practice crossover early next year.

The verdict is in, at least according to BuddyTV readers: they’re hating on the Izzie-Denny romance on Grey’s Anatomy this season. In an article written this week, in which the pros and cons of the relationship were weighed, 73% of BuddyTV readers agreed with the cons, meaning they’re looking for Denny to go haunt someone else. “This storyline is completely ridiculous,” writes BuddyTV reader IMTheresa. “I know Grey's did a lot for [Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s] career, but it's time to let it go.” Unfortunately for this reader, and everyone else who is in agreement, Denny isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and will be haunting well into 2009.

I have to admit that every time I see Denny come on the screen during an episode of Grey's Anatomy, I get excited. His character, though his time alive on the show was short-lived, is some of the best writing Grey's has done over the years. Despite my love for him, I'm not sure how much I love the Izzie-Denny love affair considering the fact that, you know, he's DEAD! Each time the two characters share a scene together, I flip flop on my feelings towards their relationship, the storyline, and what I want for each of them. Here are some pros and cons of their relationship. Read on and weigh in on the Izzie-Denny romance!

On last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy, the interns went all Lord of the Flies and just did whatever the hell they wanted. Led by Lexie (of all people), they came up with the ridiculous and stupid idea to perform a surgery on one of their own while the residents were busy with their own patients. One intern starts by letting the others inject him with an epidural and then putting in a catheter. Then, Lexie decides they should all perform an appendectomy on him. When he chickens out, Sadie volunteers. Lexie becomes nervous about the surgery, as she should be, since none of them know what the hell they're doing but Sadie just cuts herself and just like that, the appendectomy is under way!

Grey's Anatomy starts with the Seattle skyline at night. I guess it's all about nighttime and monsters tonight. We see flashes of scenes which I am presuming will end the episode.
But anyway, let's start from the beginning. It's the same night as it was in last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy. Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) just kissed, which is making her freak out and think she's going crazy. Well, um, yeah, she kind of is. Denny suggests that they test her sanity by going all the way to home base, which they never got to do while he was alive. He takes his shirt off, as I swoon.
