Doesn't it seem like Grey's Anatomy has the most promiscuous characters on TV? They are always jumping into bed with a different person every week. Hospital-cest seems to be the norm at Seattle Grace - the doctors all regularly sleep with each other and their patients.
Katherine Heigl's Izzie Steven is actually one of the more chaste characters on Grey's Anatomy, having only had relations with three men during the show's first four and a half seasons. (I'm not counting the random hockey player boyfriend she had in season 1 because we - and she - barely saw him at all.) Izzie's main three are Alex (Justin Chambers), George (T.R. Knight) and Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Forgetting the fact that Denny is technically dead, which of these do you think is the best match for Izzie?

If you're trying to get to the bottom of what's really going on on the set of Grey's Anatomy and whether or not T.R. Knight is leaving, good luck. Everywhere you turn, there's another side to the story. Earlier this week, it was reported that a Grey's cast member had gotten fed up with their lack of storylines and meaty material and was looking to leave. Though the original news item didn't mention a name, every Grey's fan out there assumed it was T.R. A celeb gossip blog run by an entertainment lawyer, Crazy Days and Nights, claimed that he walked off the set after saying goodbye to his hair and makeup people. A spokesperson for Grey's said that T.R.'s job was safe and he wasn't going anywhere. Today comes word that T.R. is in negotiations to leave and looking to make a peaceful exit.

Last week, Entertainment Weekly and E! Online reported that a diva cast member on Grey’s Anatomy was getting himself/herself into some hot water. A source close to the show revealed that "the reason [the actor] has not been on is because [he or she] has been a pain in the ass lately, trying to change scenes and dialogue, being hard to work with and putting up an attitude. The higher-ups were getting tired of it, so they tweaked [him or her] out of some episodes. That's why you haven't really seen [him or her] lately." Everyone, including BuddyTV, jumped to the conclusion that it was T.R. Knight, since he has been M.I.A. from just about every major storyline this season. E!’s Kristen Dos Santos, however, told her readers to guess again and “keep trying to figure it out”.

Let me just get this straight. Izzie could not go to work at the clinic, which she opened in Denny's name, because she was having mind-blowing sex with him. He's dead... but she's having mind-blowing sex with him. She won't talk to anyone, she's shirking her responsibilities at work, she's keeping her distance from her real live boyfriend, and she's holed up in an on call room with her dead fiance having mind-blowing sex. This is the Grey's Anatomy that was once nominated for Emmy awards, right? Just making sure. Fans of the show have been wondering for weeks just what the heck is going on. Was it a brain tumor? Is Izzie dying? Today, Entertainment Weekly finally revealed why and, being the spoiler freak that I am, I couldn't help but look.

On Grey's Anatomy, it seems that these doctors are people who sometimes practice medicine and always are hooking up with one another. Doesn't George feel weird when he walks into a staff meeting and realizes he's slept with 3 different doctors on his staff? That's should gross you out just a little. Since when do doctors get to blow off rounds, the clinic, and taking care of patients just to have sex? It was said best on last night's episode of Grey's when someone said: "This program is broken." Yes, yes it is. The program at Seattle Grace is most definitely broken, because these doctors tend to spend more time worrying about their personal lives than the people they're supposed to be saving. Read on to weigh in on the Grey's Anatomy couples and make your pick as to which one should end things sooner rather than later.

Grey's Anatomy begins tonight with all the second-year residents anxiously awaiting the decision on who gets the first solo surgery. As they wait nervously Bailey (Chandra Wilson) crows to them that she got the first solo surgery as a second-year. She makes a dig at Izzie's (Katherine Heigl) LVAD-wire cutting incident, which I cannot get enough of. By the way, imaginary Denny (Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who looks very thin. Has he always been this gaunt? Perhaps hunting demons and then turning into a ghost is taking a toll on him) is still attached at the hip to Izzie, who seems to have gotten used to him.
Richard (James Pickens Jr.) and attendings have made their decision. The vote is unanimous: everyone agrees that Cristina (Sandra Oh) should be awarded the first solo surgery. However, since she is still in deep doo-doo because her interns were secretly removing each other's appendices, she is no longer in the running. Therefore, Richard decides that she must choose who among her colleagues gets to fly solo. Also, since all of the interns are still grounded, the person Cristina picks will get to choose one fellow resident to scrub in. The first surgery will be a below-the-knee amputation. Another thing that Cristina must do to is make sure that Virginia Dixon (Mary McDonnell) is still impressed by the hospital so that she'll accept a position there to replace the recently departed Hahn (Brooke Smith).

A word of advice to the cast members of Grey’s Anatomy: you have no job security. You may say something on the set to another actor that causes a media firestorm and suddenly, you’re disappearing without explanation (I’m talking to you, Isaiah Washington). You may have been brought on as a lesbian character that didn’t sit well with the uptight ABC execs and disappear after work, never to be heard from again (that’s you, Brooke Smith). Apparently, you may also find yourself written out of scenes and practically entire episodes should you even question the writing staff. E!’s Kristen Dos Campos has the scoop, but has to refer to it as a blind item. However, we all know who she’s referring to.
