It's no secret that Miley Cyrus wants to try her hand on reality TV but that doesn't mean that she has plans to leave her popular alter ego behind anytime soon. Contrary to reports that the 16-year-old actress was angling to get fired from her contractual commitment to Disney's Hannah Montana, which is presently in the middle of its third season, Cyrus insists that she's hoping that the show will continue into the indefinite future.
"I can't really tell exactly what the future will be like, because I didn't think that at the beginning [the show would be the phenomenon] that it was. I like letting life do its own thing," the Hannah Montana star said. "[But] I definitely want the TV show to continue as long as it can."

As many people gathered to spend Thanksgiving with their friends and families, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was working. On Thursday morning, she appeared in the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, performing “I Thought I Lost You”, from her new animated movie, Bolt. Yesterday, the press caught up with her outside of her hotel as she signed autographs for her young fans and she shared what she is most thankful for this holiday season. “I think I’ve realized that mostly this year, because there’s been so many crazy ups and downs, and so many different things, and I’ve always had the same family to come home to that will treat me like the same Miley as I was in Nashville,” she said.

The day after Thanksgiving is usually the appropriate time to start putting up the Christmas decorations, head out shopping, and start listening to non-stop holiday music on the radio. One holiday event that people across the country look forward to every year is the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The lighting will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd and will be broadcast on NBC from 8-9pm ET. The live telecast will feature performances and appearances from some of today’s brightest stars, including Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus and close friends The Jonas Brothers.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus is certainly eager to move on from doing tween sitcoms. While promoting her movie Bolt, which hits theaters today, the 15-year-old singer-actress told E! News that she'd like to try her hand at reality television, specifically MTV's The Real World, the show that features seven diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras follow their lives and interpersonal relationships.
"I would want to be on a reality show like The Real World because I think that's crazy," Miley Cyrus told E! News. "Anyone who would do that has some serious guts."

It was previously reported, by Miley Cyrus' dad no less, that there are talks for the daughters of President-elect Barack to appear on Hannah Montana. Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, are said to be huge fans of the Disney show and were allegedly invited to appear in the teen series alongside global sensation Miley Cyrus. Country rocker Billy Ray Cyrus confirmed the reports and said that Obama and wife Michelle are letting their kids to appear on the show to show thanks for supporting their dad en route to being the first African-American occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Less than a few weeks after these reports came out, elder Cyrus is putting the brakes on the news as the Obama kids will not be appearing on Hannah Montana after all. Previously, Cyrus herself said she was already planning storylines for the Obama kids.

Following the recent scandal faced by The Cheetah Girls star Adrienne Bailon, the rumor that Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus is dead has got fans in a rampage. It was mistakenly reported over the weekend that the 16-year-old actress had suffered a fatal demise in a car accident. A YouTube video was even released by someone claiming to be a close friend of the celebrity, reinforcing the idea that fans (or haters) will go to great lengths for their obsessions.
Online frauds continue to plague these Disney stars, which is nothing new in the entertainment world. The video that was posted included a series of heartfelt messages for Miley Cyrus, who supposedly passed away because of a drunk driving incident. Though the video was already deleted, sources have already gotten hold of what it contained.

Call me crazy, but I think Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston need to have a chit chat about their relationship. When asked about her boyfriend on Good Morning America, the Hannah Montana star refused to give out any details. “Um, I'm going to keep that one zip-tight, locked and throw away the key,” she said. Gaston, on the other hand, told Access Hollywood this week that he and Cyrus are not in a relationship at all. They’re just friends. "Oh, just family friend, you know," he said at the 42nd Annual Country Music Association Awards Wednesday night. Cyrus was also in attendance and Gaston told People magazine that he thought she looked pretty, but refused to admit that the two were in any kind of romantic relationship.

Being the daughters of the President of the United States must certainly have its pros and cons. On the cons side, there’s the complete lack of privacy, the constant travel, the fear that something could happen to you or your parents, the media exposure, and so on. On the pros side, you’re a celebrity who gets lots of perks and as the daughters of Barack Obama, if you’re a fan of Hannah Montana, well, you can just get on the show. Billy Ray Cyrus said in an interview this week that Malia, 10, and Sasha Obama, 7, have been asked to guest star on an upcoming episode that would air possibly in April.
