The twists and turns just keep coming this season on Prison Break, from Don Self being a villain to Lisa and Gretchen having family connections to The General. It's clear that Michael can't trust anyone but his inner circle: Sara, Lincoln, Sucre, and Mahone (his most unlikely ally). Self is on the run with Scylla but starts hunting Michael down after he realizes that he is missing a crucial piece of The Company's most valued possession. Whether or not Michael and his group of loyal followers make it out of the current predicament alive is one thing. How they'll function for the rest of their lives if they do is quite another. On Prison Break, Michael, Lincoln, Sucre, Sara, and Mahone have learned one major lesson over the last few seasons: you can't trust anyone. You can't trust your local law enforcements, you can't trust the government, you can't even trust the President. You can't trust hospital personnel or just the average person walking down the street. Anybody could have it out for you at any time. On last night's episode, Michael learned the hard way that he really is alone in the world right now.

On tonight’s episode of Prison Break, Michael and his group are outraged that Don would set them up the way they did. Don calls his supervisor, Herb Stanton, and says that he’s been shot, blaming Michael and Lincoln for it, and faking his own death. Michael tries to call Stanton to find out what happened but hangs up after Sara wonders out loud of Homeland Security has been in on this from the beginning. Mahone is convinced that Self is working alone. The General meets with top Company personnel to discuss their breach of security and the gigantic issue of Scylla being out in the open. When someone questions him, he shoots him dead without hesitation.

There are two kinds of people in this world: ones who loves spoilers and go looking for them and ones who plug their ears and sing songs at the mere mention of the word “spoilers”. I’m one of those people that goes looking for every twist and turn on my favorite tv show because it just gets me even more amped for those upcoming episodes. People like me live and die for sites like SpoilerTV and Michael Ausiello’s Entertainment Weekly column. On a show like Prison Break, there’s always an endless amount of spoilers to be had, especially considering the current situation. Don Self is now on the run with Scylla while Michael and the others are left as sitting ducks. Here’s some more info on Monday night’s episode (for those of you that are like me)!

Earlier this month, there have been reports that the cast members of Prison Break have been notified by FOX that filming schedule might be extended to accommodate shooting of two additional episodes after production ends on the series' midseason finale. According to The Hollywood Reporter, those two installments could be a resolution not just for the season, but for good.
FOX hasn't committed to air the additional episodes, though discussions with the studio are underway. So at this point, these are all just speculations. The trade paper isn't also certain that the two extra hours would be a series conclusion. That means that the two hours, should they exist at all, might be a DVD bonus, or a two-hour tele-film aired next spring or fall.

If Michael has learned one thing over the years, it’s that nobody can be trusted – certainly not fellow inmates and criminals, not prison guards, not police, not government agents, no one. He learned this again the hard way when, on Monday night’s episode of Prison Break, Homeland Security Agent Don Self stole Scylla from him and took off. Michael and his friends were supposed to receive transfer papers and become free men but they were set up and played for fools. Now, the hunt begins to retrieve Scylla and no one is safe: not Don, not Gretchen, and certainly not Michael.

When I first saw the title for last night's Prison Break episode, "Selfless", I immediately thought that someone gave their life for Michael. I worried most, of course, for Lincoln and Sucre. Early in the season, Sara and Michael discussed a story in mythology involving the word Scylla, in which a man had to sacrifice everyone in order to achieve his goal. With Bellick already dead, and with a showdown looming between Michael and The Company, it seemed no one was safe. When Michael and everyone in his group made it out of The Company's headquarters alive and had Scylla in hand, the title of the episode caused me to shift my focus to Don Self. I thought perhaps Trish Ann would shoot him in the end, take Scylla, and go on the run with T-Bag. Imagine my surprise when the world selfless meant that Don was never working with Michael at all. He was with The Company.

On tonight's episode of Prison Break, The General arrives downstairs at Gate to confront Michael but he and his guards and greeted by Mahone, Sucre, and Lincoln, who are armed. The General mocks Michael, saying that he blew it but he doesn't realize that Michael is after his Scylla card. When he hands over his card, he tells Michael that he's missing some pieces so imagine his surprise when Michael lays down every single card in front of his face. Meanwhile, Trish Ann and Don are able to break free and shoot the men who were holding them captive. T-Bag's boss at Gate, Gregory White, heads into his office to meet Gretchen. He spots a gun on the floor and makes a quick exit. It seems their cover is blown!
