Making the Top 10 is a goal for any contestant on FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. Reaching that milestone means heading out on an extensive national tour, which keeps the contestants dancing for large audiences long after the cameras have turned off. The tour kicked off last month, September 20, in Tacoma, WA. Tickets are on sale for upcoming dates through Ticketmaster, though many venues are long sold out. At each stop, the dancers not only talk to the press, but meet with fans as well. This week, Zap2It headed to catch the tour and caught up with Josh, Courtney and Jessica.

I don't know much about dance, but based on my knowledge of reality shows, I can only assume that the dance world is very small. This might be surprising given the shear volume of dance shows on TV. 2008 has already seen at least a half dozen different reality competition shows exclusively about dancing, but the overlap and interconnectedness of talent in terms of judges, hosts and contestants is rather astounding.
This realization finally crystallized in my mind when I noticed that the new cast of Dancing with the Stars features three sets of related professional dancers. Alec Mazo and Edyta Sliwinska are husband and wife, Derek and Julianne Hough are siblings and new professional Corky Ballas is Mark Ballas' father. This alone should prove that the world of professional dancing is an incestuous endeavor, but there's so much more.

This summer, Joshua Allen became the first hip hop contestant to win the title of America’s Favorite Dancer on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance. Joshua was hailed by the judges all season long for continuously performing beyond their expectations, as he was virtually an untrained dancer. He had taken some classes as a child only did a small fraction of the training his competitors did leading up to the show. For fans of the show, Joshua seemed like a natural choice to win this season: he had great partners, great routines, he performed consistently well each week, and he was very humble and likable. What fans don’t know is that, due to a family tragedy, Joshua almost didn’t make it to So You Think You Can Dance this year.

A few weeks before the season finale of So You Think You Can Dance, I posed this question to Comfort Fedoke: Is it possible for a hip hop dancer to win this thing? Not only was it possible but Twitch Boss and Joshua Allen, both hip hop dancers, were the last two standing. Josh may have been crowned the winner but Twitch will be just as well known. He came into this season with a built in fan base, after losing the last spot in Vegas last year to Hok Konishi. Twitch left the show with no regrets and proud of the way that he represented hip hop. Today, he spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.

Courtney Galiano may have surprised a lot of people this season on So You Think You Can Dance, but the person she ended up surprising the most was herself. This was the first year that Courtney was old enough to try out for though she had high hopes, she kept her expectations realistic. Yet, she achieved a new goal week after week, getting a ticket to Vegas, making Top 20, making Top 10, and finally, making it all the way to Top 4 before being eliminated in the season finale. Courtney was praised by Mary Murphy for being an inspiration to young girls and Nigel Lythgoe loved her endless amount of spirit both on and off the stage. She left the show with no regrets and today, spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview about her time on the show.

It was quite a shock to So You Think You Can Dance fans on last week's finale when Katee Shean finished in 3rd place. Perhaps the only thing that made die hard Katee fans feel better was that, as the final female standing, she walked away with $50,000. Practically flawless this season, Katee performed countless memorable routines and received endless amounts of praise from the judges. All the praise in the world couldn't take her to final 2 though, and she left just short of her goal. Today, she spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview and addressed everything from her breakdown in Vegas to reading what her fans say about her online.

It was hard for Joshua Allen to hide the shock on his face when he was declared the winner of last night's season finale of So You Think You Can Dance. A mostly untrained dancer, he went up against people who dedicated their lives to training for a competition like this. Josh, though, defied the odds and prevailed in the end. Paired with Katee Shean early in the season, the two broke away from the pack and established themselves as frontrunners on the very first night of performances. Since then, he has gone on to impress in just about every style of dance and performed several entertaining solos. He was a dancer that America could get behind and last night, he found out that, after 60 million votes, he had won season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance! Today, he took time out of busy schedule to talk to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.

So You Think You Can Dance fans were not surprised when Courtney Galiano finished 4th in last night's finale. The young dancer gave everything she had in this competition, dancing with heart and passion. Her personality came through in all of her videos and interviews, forming her a very strong fan base this season. All the heart in the world, though, couldn't push her past Josh, Katee, and Twitch but she left the show with no regrets and feeling very proud of herself. Next, it seemed that one of the male dancers would be headed home and many felt it would be Twitch. Josh and Katee seemed the frontrunners to be the final two standing but when Cat told Katee that she had been eliminated and would finish the competition in 3rd place, the shock in the room was evident. How did Katee end up missing out on placing Top 2? The answer may be more simple than you think!
