On last night's season finale of Survivor: Gabon, Bob Crowley was named the winner, picking up 4 votes in the final tribal council to defeat Susie Smith, who earned 3 votes. Jessica "Sugar" Kiper, who was the third finalist, did not earn a single vote. Bob had several close calls this season, and was often the target for elimination, but he pulled out win after win in individual immunity challenges. His most crucial was a tie-breaking fire making challenge at the second to last tribal council on last night's episode. At the reunion show, he found out that he was not only the winner, but fan favorite, and picked up an extra $100,000 on top of his $1 million grand prize. Today, he spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview.

Survivor: Gabon almost threw away a great season with a disastrous final jury vote. I was ready to go on a rampage in this here column, decrying the hypocrisy of Survivor jurors and the stupidity of the three finalist system. I was going to be a bitter fool. Thankfully, Susie did not win a million dollars on Survivor: Gabon, Mr. Bob Crowley was rightfully crowned champion, and subtleties that would have been clouded by anger can now be fully explored. A lot went on in those three hours of Survivor coverage on CBS, and I found my opinions changed more than I expected and, frankly, more than I would have liked.

Alright, welcome back to the finale of Survivor: Gabon. We're down to the final three contestants: Bob, Sugar, and Susie. They just faced an absolutely brutal tribal council, with some people taking such cheap shots at them in order to get the last word in. It seems that Bob is an absolute guarantee to walk away with the million, having won 5 of the last 6 challenges, but stranger things have happened in Survivor. Stick with BuddyTV as we head into the last hour of the Survivor: Gabon finale, where we'll find out who walks away with the million and what the players have to say about this season!

When Survivor: Gabon first aired, I believe I was rooting for Kenny and Bob. That was before I knew the kind of player Kenny was going to be. About midway through the season, I switched to backing the onion alliance, which was headed up by Charlie and Marcus (the inner layer). When just about every member of that alliance was voted out at tribal council, I had to pick a new player to get behind and that player is Matty. I never thought I'd want a Fang tribe member to win this game. Their performances at challenges were miserable and their attitudes back at camp were even worse. However, Matty seems to be some rare exception. He is a strong player, he's had a pretty good strategy, and over all, he seems like a good person and I like when good people win this game. Here's hoping that he and Bob are in the final two or three tonight. If either walks away with the million, I'd be happy.
Stick with BuddyTV all night as we cover the Survivor:Gabon finale live!

We're mere hours away from the Survivor: Gabon finale, a season that will go down as one of the greatest of Survivor's lengthy career. Five castaways remain, and there is no fan consensus in terms of rooting interests (besides the general apathy everyone feels towards Susie). It's been a long season of terrible predictions for me, and my prognostication skills feel like they're at an all-time low. I need to get that confidence back, that swagger I once had. Tonight is the night that the predictions come true. It's snowing, coffee is flowing like wine, and football is on TV – the perfect ingredients for prediction making. Let's get it going.

It was quite an episode full of twists and turns on last night's Survivor: Gabon. At tribal council, it seemed that Matty was done for, as Crystal and Kenny conspired to get rid of him. Then, in a last minute move, Sugar gave Matty his idol and their alliance sent Crystal packing. For weeks now, Kenny and Crystal have been running the show, voting out Kota tribe members Charlie, Marcus, Randy, and Corinne but now, it looks like Kenny is left all alone in this game while Crystal was left all alone at Ponderosa after being voted out. These days, she's got Hollywood dreams on the brain but today, she took some time to speak to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview. Read on to find out who Crystal feels is the real mastermind of this game and why she lost so many darn challenges!

I take it all back, Sugar. I do. I apologize for all the negative things I have said about you. You are smarter than you look, smarter than you often act. You cry too much, and that is a bother, but I can forgive that, especially after what you accomplished on last night's episode of Survivor. Survivor: Gabon (how many times can I say this?) has produced great, suspenseful television every time out, and the recent string of episodes has been among the series' best. Sugar owned the latest one. When someone cries so much, it's only natural to question how genuine they are being. Sugar, especially earlier on in the season, came off as an actress whose go-to move was crying on the spot. While I still believe Sugar overdoes it from time to time, I also now think that Sugar is mostly genuine, and simply prone to rash bouts of sensitivity.

If my fellow writer Oscar Dahl's predictions about tonight's episode of Survivor are dead on, then I will be one happy camper at the end of this hour. He predicts that Matty will win immunity, Bob will manage to save himself, and Kenny will be the one going home. Fine by me! As I've been saying for a few weeks now, Matty and Bob are the only two people I want to see win this game. Kenny is such a little snake and he's an idiot for letting his strategy be known, since Matty has figured out that he was the one who orchestrated the three votes against him. Kenny thinks he's a mastermind and that is just laughable! Here's hoping Kenny's torch is snuffed tonight. Stick around for the next hour as I'll be updating live, and post your thoughts, too!
