September 15, 2008

Next year, the Pearsons will be returning once again to the small screen.  TBS has decided to order yet another season of The Bill Engval Show, the solidly rated sitcom that stars comedian Bill Engvall.  Determined not to mess with success, the network has ordered 10 more episodes of the show, which will premiere next summer.  To ease the long wait, however, the network will also be producing two holiday episodes of the series to air in December.

Written and Created by Engvall, The Bill Engvall Show premiered in July 2007 and after a successful pilot run, was renewed for a 10-episode sophomore season, which just ended its run last month with an average of 2.3 million viewers. The show also ranked first on ad-supported cable in adults 18-49 for its 9pm timeslot.
