As a dance group composed of seven white guys, Xtreme Dance Force says they feel like they are constantly perceived as "not ghetto enough" and that they always have to prove that they do hip-hop. Haling from Chicago, Illinois, Xtreme Dance Force not only dances, they also have 150 kids ages 8 up look up to them for support and inspiration.

Xtreme Dance Force is one of the dance crews competing in Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew, featuring street dance crews in the country. Hosted by Mario Lopez, America's Best Dance Crew is produced by American Idol judge and record producer Randy Jackson. The show boasts of a panel of topnotch judges, including hip-hop choreographer and street dance authority Shane Sparks, superstar MC Lil Mama, and singer, song-writer, and record producer, JC Chasez of the disbanded boy group NSYNC.

During the Chicago audition, Xtreme Dance Force were told they make faces like pageant girls and it was something they had to improve on. Despite this, however, they still move on to the live casting show. Coming from a Chicago suburb, according to them, they have to prove themselves onstage as most crews don't respect them purely on the basis of how they look. JC, as a former boyband member himself, pointed at some of the names of their members, such as JC, Nick, and Justin, and asked if they were out to form a super boyband. After their performance, however, the judges were unanimous in applauding their high energy and great moves.
